Amman, Sept. 29 (Petra) -- Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD18.5 million on Tuesday, as 17.4 million shares were traded through 4,152 transactions.

The general share price index closed at 4,178 points, up 0.17%, against the last session.

By sectors, the financial and industrial indexes rose 0.33 percent and 0.16 percent, respectively, while the services benchmark fell 0.18 percent.

Of the 113 companies traded, 44 closed higher than their previous closing prices and 27 closed lower, while the rest remained flat.
