Amman, Sept. 14 (Petra) -- The national basketball team will face South Korea in the quarterfinals of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games on Wednesday, as it continues its bid for a place in the tournament’s final four.

The matchup was set following Monday’s draw for the men’s basketball quarterfinals. The game will be played in the Japanese city of Nagoya, with the starting time to be confirmed.

The national team reached the last eight after finishing third in Group B and securing a place in the knockout stage.

South Korea advanced as the winner of Group A after defeating host Japan to finish top of the group.

Wednesday’s winner will advance to the semifinals of the Asian Games basketball competition.
