Moscow, Sept. 14 (Petra) - Russia's ban on petroleum product exports will remain in effect to secure domestic supplies and curb domestic shortages, the Kremlin confirmed on Monday.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the extended ban seeks to satisfy domestic demand and stabilize prices while authorities track national fuel supplies and cost trends.
