Ma’an, Sept 14 (Petra) – During a field tour on Monday in the Ayl District of Ma’an Governorate, Minister of Social Development Wafaa Bani Mustafa toured a number of charitable associations to check first-hand on their programs, projects, and needs.

She also inaugurated the Ayl Inclusive Day-Care Center, and visited a number of needy families, including orphans and persons with disabilities.

The minister visited the Basta Association for Social Development on key projects and programs serving the local community, including a ministry-backed kindergarten, a community hall, and a beauty salon, as well as aid distribution programs for needy families.

At the Prince Rashid Kindergarten Charitable Association for Social Development, Bani Mustafa was briefed on key projects and programs, and ordered the provision of equipment to children's facilities and the local public park.

She stressed the vital role of charitable and development associations in governorates as key partners of the ministry in reaching citizens in remote areas and addressing their needs.

Bani Mustafa said the Social Development ministry is committed to expanding the network of inclusive day-care centers and early intervention units across the Kingdom, aiming to bring services closer to the homes of persons with disabilities, in line with Royal directives.
