Amman, Sept. 9 (Petra) --The Jordanian Football League has moved up three places in the global league rankings issued by Opta, placing 101st worldwide, compared with 104th in the previous ranking.

The change reflects an improvement in the assessment of the level of competition and the strength of Jordanian clubs based on Opta’s ranking indicators.

At the club level, Al Faisaly is the highest-ranked Jordanian club at 829th globally, followed by Al Hussein Irbid at 935th, Al Wehdat at 973rd, and Al Ramtha at 1,766th.

The Jordanian league’s improved position comes with the start of the new football season and the competition among the leading clubs.
