Amman, Sept. 9 (Petra) - Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) President Khalil Haj Tawfiq called the upcoming Jordan-EU Investment Conference a "primary driver" for turning foreign ties into real economic projects on Wednesday.

Addressing the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce in Paris, Haj Tawfiq said the JCC will mobilize its international network to secure "major" European presence at the November 19 forum at the Dead Sea.

He invited the French business community to attend and explore "major" national ventures tied to Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision.

He noted that key opportunities include the National Water Carrier Project, national railway networks, the Amra City development, alongside infrastructure, energy, logistics, tourism, and tech sectors.

Beyond driving capital investment, these projects stimulate diverse economic sectors, generate employment, and facilitate technology transfer and establish "lasting alliances" between Jordanian and European firms, enabling local project execution and regional scaling, according to Haj Tawfiq.

He showcased Jordan’s "unique" value proposition, citing its regional stability, talent pool, strategic trade positioning, and cultural appeal.

"Hearing about Jordan from afar is nothing like experiencing it firsthand," he said, adding that: "Come discover a country that bridges stability with promising opportunity."

Beyond its domestic market, Jordan serves as a gateway to massive global trade and regional reconstruction thanks to free trade deals with the EU, US, UK, Canada, Singapore, and Arab states, Haj Tawfiq added.

Franco-Arab Chamber board members warmly received the invitation, praising Jordan's stability and strategic positioning as a hub connecting regional trade with international markets.
