52/ Prince Ghazi opens 19th Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought general conference
Amman, Sept. 9 (Petra) - HRH Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, Chairman of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought, opened the institute's 19th General Conference on Wednesday under royal patronage, titled "The Ummah’s Priorities for the Next 25 Years (2026-2050)." Delegates addressed primary intellectual and religious challenges facing the Muslim world over the coming decades. Talks focused on bolstering dialogue among Islamic authorities, promoting moderation and peaceful coexistence, and articulating a balanced Islamic discourse to counter contemporary ideological threats. The conference brought together prominent scholars, thinkers, and religious figures, including Awqaf Minister Mohammad Khalaileh, Egyptian Minister of Awqaf Osama Azhari, and former Grand Mufti of Egypt Ali Gomaa.
