Amman, Sept. 8 (Petra) - Minister of Culture Mustafa Rawashdeh and Algerian Ambassador to Jordan Mohamed Zergot canvassed on Tuesday expanding cultural and artistic exchanges.

The talks focused on proposals for reciprocal cultural weeks, joint events, and Algerian participation in the next Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, according to the ministry.

Both sides stressed the importance of building on the historic ties, fostered by His Majesty King Abdullah II and Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to deepen cultural engagement and people-to-people connections.
