  45/ Real estate sales rise 7% in August: DLS

Amman, Sept. 7 (Petra) - Real estate sales in Jordan increased by 7 percent in August compared to July, while ticking up by under 1 percent compared to August 2025, according to monthly data released on Monday by the Department of Lands and Survey (DLS).

The report shows that total trading volume in the Kingdom's real estate market reached approximately JD4.39 billion during the first eight months of the year.

On a monthly basis, apartment sales rose by 5 percent in August compared to the previous month and by 1 percent compared to August 2025. Land sales also climbed by 8 percent month-on-month.

A total of 6,910 properties were sold to corporate buyers during the first eight months of the year, according to the DLS, bringing total corporate-driven revenue to nearly JD182.1 million, a 4 percent increase over the same period in 2025.

Overall real estate revenues reached JD27.4 million in August, marking a 9 percent increase compared to August 2025.
