39/ Social Security Corporation urges workers to report unregistered employment via online portal
Amman, Sept. 6 (Petra) - The Social Security Corporation (SSC) encouraged employees on Sunday to report unregistered work or wage discrepancies using its "Include Yourself" online service. Upon receiving a report, the SSC will launch an inspection into the business. If an employment relationship is confirmed, the worker will be retroactively enrolled in social security starting from their first day on the job, in accordance with the Social Security Law. Inspection teams will verify claims and visit non-compliant businesses within two weeks of receiving a request. Workers should log into their SSC accounts to verify their enrollment and salary details, according to the corporation. Anyone with missing coverage or under-reported wages can submit a report via www.ssc.gov.jo to secure their insurance rights. The initiative covers employees across all industries, including private security, sanitation, and maintenance firms. The SSC assured workers that all submitted data is strictly confidential and used solely to investigate claims. //Petra// HA
