15/ Six Jordanians Rank Among World’s Top 10 in Taekwondo
Amman, Sept. 3 (Petra) -- Six Jordanian taekwondo athletes have been ranked among the world’s top 10 in the latest standings issued by World Taekwondo. Fadia Khirfan is ranked No. 1 in the world and No. 2 in the Olympic rankings, while Jaafar Al-Daoud is No. 3 globally and No. 2 in the Olympic standings. Razan Rawashdeh is ranked No. 2 in the world and No. 8 in the Olympic rankings, while Zaid Kareem is No. 2 globally. Zaid Halawani is ranked No. 7 in the world, and Mohammad Adarbeh is No. 8. The World Ranking covers eight senior weight categories for men and women, while the Olympic Ranking consolidates them into four Olympic weight categories and is used for Olympic qualification purposes. //Petra// AO
