Amman, Sept 2 (Petra) - Jordanian Association for Entrepreneurship CEO Bilal Wadi said on Wednesday that building a deeper entrepreneurship and innovation partnership between Jordan and Russia is a "promising" opportunity to exchange expertise, transfer knowledge, and leverage advanced financing and business acceleration models.

Expanding cooperation with Moscow will broaden funding options for Jordanian entrepreneurs, help them scale their ventures, and open doors to the Russian market to export local services, products, and tech solutions, Wadi told Petra in an interview.

A recently signed memorandum of understanding between the association and the Youth Diplomacy Academy in Russia marks a new phase of institutional collaboration, according to Wadi. The agreement focuses on youth empowerment, technology, research, and joint international projects linking support networks.

He revealed that grants, incubator opportunities, and startup competitions will be announced in the coming months. Such initiatives aim to connect Jordanian innovators with investors, experts, and business accelerators across Russia and Tatarstan, a federal republic of Russia.

Jordan’s skilled innovators are "well-positioned" for global expansion in a knowledge-driven economy, Wadi said, adding that success depends on translating agreements into tangible results through unlocking capital, technology, and global market access for high-potential ventures.
