Amman, Oct. 12 (Petra) -- The national karate team for cadets, juniors and under-21 athletes has departed for Bielsko-Bia?a, Poland, to compete in the 2026 World Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships, which begin on Oct. 14.

The Jordanian delegation includes 13 male and female athletes seeking to deliver strong performances and achieve positive results in a competition featuring some of the world’s leading karate athletes across various age categories.

Jordan Karate Federation board member Salwa Abdel-Khalek heads the delegation. The coaching and administrative staff includes technical director Mohammad Fityan, coach Hussein Rouhani and therapist Hala Maharmah.
