Ramallah, Oct. 5 (Petra) - Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian and injured two others on Monday when they opened fire on a vehicle near Hebron in the Southern West Bank, according to Palestinian sources.

Israeli troops blocked Red Crescent emergency crews from reaching the victims inside the vehicle at the entrance to Bani Naim village, the Palestinian General Authority of Civil Affairs (PACA) said.

The shooting came amid wider military activity in the region, including the demolition of a house, tent, and water well in Yatta, south of Hebron.

Across the occupied West Bank, troops launched extensive raids, detaining at least 20 "wanted" Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Society.

Meanwhile, armed settlers assaulted olive farmers near Burqa village in the Northern West Bank, barring them from work and seizing a tractor, local municipal officials said.
