Amman, October 4 (Petra) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi and Lebanese Minister of Culture Ghassan Salamé discussed ties and cooperation on Sunday in Amman.

Safadi said the Kingdom supports Lebanon, its security, stability and sovereignty, urging consolidating stability in the country.

He called for supporting the Lebanese government's efforts to assert its sovereignty over all Lebanese territory, as well as the need for Israel to withdraw from occupied Lebanese territories and implement the understandings reached with the Lebanese government.

Salamé expressed appreciation for Jordan's supportive stance toward Lebanon and the efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah II in support of the country and its people.
