Amman, Oct. 4 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index closed Sunday at 4,193 points, down 0.32 percent, while total trading value reached JD11.7 million.

A total of 6.6 million shares changed hands through 5,091 transactions.

By sector, the services and financial indexes fell 0.46% and 0.41%, respectively, while the industrial benchmark rose 0.34 percent.

Of the 108 companies traded, 40 recorded gains and 44 went down, compared with their previous closing prices.
