31/ National football team continues preparations for Venezuela friendly
Amman, Oct. 3 (Petra) – The national football team is continuing its technical and physical preparations ahead of its match against Venezuela at 8 p.m. next Tuesday at King Abdullah II Stadium as part of preparations for participation in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup finals. The team held its training session Saturday morning at the Al-Nashama Preparation Center, led by coach Badou Zaki, with the participation of all players. The Al-Nashama squad list includes 28 players: Yazeed Abu Laila, Abdullah Al-Fakhouri, Ahmad Juaidi, Yazan Al-Arab, Abdullah Naseeb, Mohammad Abu Al-Nadi, Saad Al-Rousan, Hadi Al-Hourani, Mohannad Abu Taha, Ihsan Haddad, Ahmad Assaf, Anas Badawi, Nour Al-Rawabdeh, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ibrahim Saadeh, Yousef Qashi, Amer Jamous, Mahmoud Shawkat, Yousef Abu Al-Jalboush, Anas Al-Awadat, Mousa Al-Tamari, Mahmoud Mardi, Tamer Bani Odeh, Ahmad Ersan, Ali Azayzeh, Odeh Al-Fakhouri, Mohammad Abu Zrayq, and Ali Alwan. Meanwhile, the national team will hold a training session open to media for coverage and interviews at 10:30 a.m. the day after tomorrow, Monday, at King Abdullah II Stadium, with media personnel wishing to cover the session requested to be present at 10 a.m. The draw for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup finals placed the Al-Nashama team, runner-up in the previous edition, in Group B alongside Uzbekistan, Bahrain, and North Korea. The 2027 AFC Asian Cup finals will be held from Jan. 7 to Feb. 5 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Al-Nashama team will begin its campaign in the tournament against Uzbekistan on the evening of Friday, Jan. 8, at King Abdullah City Stadium in Jeddah, before facing Bahrain on the evening of Wednesday, Jan. 13, of the same month at the same stadium. It will conclude its group stage campaign against North Korea on the evening of Sunday, Jan. 17, at Imam Mohammad bin Saud University Stadium in Riyadh. //Petra// AF
