Amman, May 17 (Petra) – The Association of Jordanian Marathons, Run Jordan, has officially opened registration for the fifth edition of the Women’s Race. Scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2026, the event will take place at Al Hussein Public Parks under the promotional slogan "Run for Yourself."

The opening of registration signals the start of logistics and preparation for the competition, which stands as a premier women-focused sporting event in the Kingdom. The initiative aims to elevate female participation in athletics and foster healthier, active lifestyles.

Organizers have structured the event into two distinct distance tiers to accommodate varying age groups and fitness levels:
– A 2.6-kilometer route specifically designated for young girls aged 8 to 14, designed to encourage competitive athletic habits from an early age.
– A 5.2-kilometer route open to all adult female participants and running enthusiasts.

Interested participants can register either through the official digital portal at https://registration.runjordan.com/Register or by visiting the Run Jordan corporate offices in person.

In coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), Run Jordan announced that 20 percent of all registration fees collected for this year's race will be allocated directly to humanitarian relief efforts for the population in the Gaza Strip. The initiative is intended to merge the event's athletic and community outreach with urgent regional solidarity and humanitarian aid.

The event is organized in institutional partnership with the Greater Amman Municipality. Corporate backing for the 2026 iteration includes Jordan Bromine as the primary title sponsor, alongside the Arab Bank as a gold sponsor. Additional corporate logistics and hydration support are provided by Zain, Aramex, Ghadeer Water, Al-Dyafa Restaurants, Caesar Pizza, and Siniora, with specialized fitness support managed by sports partner Rize Up.
