Mafraq, May 17 (Petra) -- The Mafraq Water Administration on Sunday temporarily suspended operations at the Hawsha pumping station following a technical malfunction on a subsidiary water pipeline, an official said.

Abdullah Aleimat, Operational Director at the administration, stated that technical engineering teams have initiated emergency maintenance and repair works to restore the pipeline.

Aleimat added that the facility is expected to resume full operations shortly, after which water distribution will proceed according to the region's established scheduled rotation program.
