5/ Amman to Host Franchise, Trade Agencies Exhibition 2026 in June

Amman, May 16 (Petra) -- The Bana Conferences and Exhibitions company and the Iraqi Business Council in Jordan will organize the Franchise and Trade Agencies Exhibition 2026 on June 9 at the Amman International Exhibition Center on Airport Road, with official participation from Jordan and Iraq alongside a wide range of business owners and companies.

According to a statement issued by the council on Saturday, the exhibition is expected to attract investors, agents, traders, and entrepreneurs seeking international brands and franchise opportunities, in addition to distribution, marketing, and logistics companies interested in expanding their operations.

The two-day exhibition is being organized in cooperation with the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Amman Chamber of Industry, Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO), Iraqi Economic Council, Jordan Investors Association, Iraqi Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies Association, Iraqi Private Banks League, Iraq-Korea Business Council, and Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event is also being held in partnership with the Jordan Construction Contractors Association, Jordan Industrial Estates Corporation, and Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j). International participation includes the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The exhibition aims to connect companies directly with investors and business leaders to establish commercial partnerships, agencies, and franchise agreements, while facilitating engagement with experts in franchising, distribution, and logistics services.

Organizers said the event will also provide opportunities to explore financing solutions for projects and companies and support the signing of agreements and memoranda of understanding on the sidelines of the exhibition.

Targeted sectors include banking and financial services, financial technology (FinTech), insurance, food and retail, tourism and hospitality, technology and digital transformation, energy, construction, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and other high-growth industries.

The exhibition seeks to strengthen direct communication channels between local, regional, and international companies and Jordanian and Iraqi business communities, while supporting market entry into Iraq through strategic and reliable partnerships.

It also aims to promote investment opportunities in Iraq to Arab and international companies holding commercial agencies and franchises, support entrepreneurship initiatives, and facilitate the exchange of expertise in brand distribution, marketing, and franchising.

The event targets companies and factories seeking distributors or agents in Jordan and Iraq, franchise operators searching for regional partners, industrial firms planning market expansion, and Jordanian companies providing legal, financial, and logistical support services for franchise and agency projects.

Vice President and Secretary of the council and Head of the Exhibition’s Preparatory Committee, Saad Naji, said the exhibition offers companies a practical gateway to one of the region’s fastest-growing markets through an integrated financing and investment guarantee framework and direct engagement with decision-makers and distribution networks in Iraq.

Naji said Jordan was selected to host the exhibition due to its advanced logistics infrastructure, stable business environment, and strategic position as a secure economic gateway to the Iraqi market.

He added that the exhibition program will include specialized sessions featuring experts in franchising and distribution, in addition to networking activities and the signing of agreements and memoranda of understanding.

Naji highlighted the importance of the exhibition’s timing amid regional economic challenges and tensions, stressing the need for public and private sector institutions to organize promotional economic events that support market recovery and encourage business expansion.
