32/ Ajloun National University President: Jordan's narrative is built on Hashemite foundations
Ajloun, May 16 (Petra) -- President of Ajloun National University Feras Al-Hanandeh stated on Saturday that the Jordanian national narrative represents an integrated model built on wisdom, historical legitimacy, and steadfast principles. He highlighted that the Hashemite leadership has served as the foundation for building state institutions, embedding values of moderation, and advancing the comprehensive development process throughout Jordan's history. Al-Hanandeh told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that this narrative reflects the core identity of the state and its firm positions focused on maintaining national stability, strengthening internal unity, and modernizing institutional frameworks. He added that Jordan's structural strength stems from the cohesion between its people and the Hashemite leadership, allowing the country to maintain its balance and stability despite complex regional and international challenges. The university president emphasized the historic and pivotal role of the Hashemites in safeguarding Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, particularly the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque. He noted that the Hashemite Custodianship represents an ongoing historical and religious responsibility dedicated to protecting the Arab and Islamic identity of the holy city. Al-Hanandeh also pointed out that the Great Arab Revolt served as a foundational milestone for the modern Arab renaissance and shaped the Hashemite vision for independence, unity, and state-building. He commended the honorable sacrifices of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies in safeguarding the country's security and stability across all historical stages. He concluded by praising the continuous efforts of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II in defending Palestinian rights and firmly articulating Jordan's unwavering principles across all international platforms. //Petra// AF
