Aqaba, May 16 (Petra) -- Young participants from the Aqaba Governorate stated on Saturday that their involvement in the "Tawasol 2026" forum organized by the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) offers a premier opportunity for national dialogue, capacity building, and engagement with future-defining issues. The youth noted that the foundation’s specialized programs have directly enhanced their leadership and communication skills, building the confidence needed for active participation in nationwide initiatives. The Tawasol Forum is an annual national platform designed to connect youth with decision-makers and experts to discuss domestic priorities and future trends. Held this year under the theme "Visions for Tomorrow’s Opportunities," the forum featured panels on technology, economics, media, artificial intelligence, sports, and lifestyle adaptations in a changing world. Participating via a live television link from Aqaba on Saturday, the young attendees emphasized that the forum enriches their understanding of contemporary global shifts and broadens their scope for civic contribution. They credited the CPF’s decentralized initiatives across governorates with empowering local communities and providing real avenues for social impact. Mohammad Al-Bayoumi, a young content creator specializing in photography and video editing, shared that the forum allowed him to learn from inspiring youth-led success stories, helping him refine his creative tools for visual storytelling. Rama Al-Riyati stated that the sessions aligned closely with youth aspirations, prompting new approaches to future planning. She highlighted Aqaba’s immense potential in marine sports, suggesting that targeted investments in water sports could significantly boost the local economy, revitalize tourism, and attract international championships to the coastal city. Nermin Shehadat emphasized the forum's role in encouraging youth to recognize their potential. She noted that understanding artificial intelligence has become essential for defining modern productivity across sectors, adding that mastery of AI applications is now a prerequisite for any young person looking to stay competitive in the future job market. //Petra// AF
