Tallinn, Estonia, May 16 (Petra) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi held a phone call on Saturday with the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, Velislava Petrova-Chamova.

Safadi congratulated Petrova-Chamova on assuming her new duties as Bulgaria's top diplomat.

The two ministers highlighted the recent developments in Jordanian-Bulgarian relations, expressing a shared commitment to building on this momentum by identifying broader opportunities for cooperation across sectors and deepening coordination on issues of mutual concern.

The ministers also discussed the ongoing escalation in the Middle East and its broader regional and international implications, reviewing diplomatic efforts aimed at restoring security and stability to the area.
