28/ Tourist investment agreement signed to create jobs in Jordan Valley-JVA
Amman, May 14 (Petra) – Secretary-General of the Jordan Valley Authority (JVA), Hisham Hisa, on Thursday signed an investment agreement for tourism projects, aimed to revive the local economy and provide job opportunities for residents of surrounding communities. During the signing ceremony, Hisa said this agreement aligns with Economic Modernization Vision and is part of the government's efforts to develop the Kingdom's various areas by supporting productive projects and expanding employment opportunities. This effort, he noted, will achieve "sustainable and comprehensive" development, enhance the target regions' capacity to attract investments, and create an "attractive" environment for investors. On its scope, he stated this move would provide job opportunities, improve income levels, support the local economy, and strengthen social stability in the targeted areas.
