24/ JAF Signs Deal to Support Stability, Development Initiatives with International Body
Amman, May 14 (Petra) -- The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Thursday signed a cooperation agreement with the Washington-based Unified Alliance for Sustainable Development Goals (UnASDG) as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships supporting humanitarian, media, and development work. The agreement was signed on behalf of the JAF by the Director of Military Media Brig. Gen. Mustafa Hiyari, while Nujoud Al-Diqs signed on behalf of the organization’s Washington office administration. The agreement aims to expand cooperation and coordination with relevant institutions and entities to help develop institutional work environments, enhance capabilities in military media and crisis management, support stability efforts, and implement humanitarian and development initiatives. It also aligns with the JAF’s vision of building effective partnerships that promote the exchange of expertise and knowledge and support national and humanitarian efforts at both local and international levels. Hiyari commended the organization’s role, praising its continued support for the JAF across media and development fields. For her part, Al-Diqs highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation and integrating efforts in support of humanitarian and development causes, reflecting the pivotal role played by the JAF in promoting stability and serving communities affected by crises.
