Amman, May 13 (Petra) – Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Wednesday mourned the passing of former minister and senator Mazen Saket and expressed condolences to the family of the deceased.

Saket served as Minister of Interior in 2011 and held the portfolios of Public Sector Development and Political Development during the same year. He was a member of the 27th Senate.

Throughout his career, he held several senior public sector positions, including Head of the Civil Service Bureau, Assistant Secretary-General of the Water Authority for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Chair of the Board of the National Tourism Development Company, in addition to various roles in the private sector.
