  38/ Ministry: Applications open to benefit from Romania's university scholarships

Amman, May 13 (Petra) – The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Wednesday announced it has opened applications for scholarships offered by the Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade, across various academic levels (Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate).

In a statement, the ministry said the scholarships cover the following fields: Economics, Business Administration, Agricultural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Oil and Gas, as well as advanced medical specialties, namely Emergency Medicine and Cardiology, for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The ministry noted other fields of study will be considered by the granting agency based on available resources at Romanian universities.

On privileges, the scholarship covers tuition fees, including preparatory year fees, university accommodation, a monthly stipend, and health insurance.

The language of instruction is Romanian, as the possibility for students who are not proficient in the language to enroll in a preparatory year ahead of the beginning their academic program.

The ministry invites students interested in benefiting from the scholarships to submit their applications and review the details via the following link: https://arice.gov.ro/1/burse-2026.

The ministry said the deadline for applications is June 12, 2026, urging applicants to adhere to the 2023 regulations for the equivalency of non-Jordanian degrees and the amended regulations of 2025.
