Amman, May 13 (Petra) -- Lower House Speaker Mazen Qadi on Wednesday received Kuwaiti Ambassador Hamad Al-Marri, at the end of his tenure in the Kingdom.

Qadi said Jordanian-Kuwaiti relations are historic and deeply-rooted, and have always served the interests of both countries and the central causes of the Arab nation, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Kuwait’s Emir Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

He commended Al-Marri’s efforts during his years as ambassador to Jordan, as a model of diligent diplomatic work aimed at expanding cooperation across various fields.

The Kuwaiti envoy expressed appreciation for Jordan, noting the strong bonds between the two countries and a shared commitment to further advancing cooperation.

He thanked Jordan’s leadership, government, and people for their support during his tenure.
