Amman, May 13 (Petra) -- Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD20.2 million on Wednesday, as 9.4 million shares were traded through 5,630 transactions.

The ASE general share price index closed at 3,898 points, up 0.05 percent, compared with the previous session.

At the sectoral level, the services index rose 0.78 percent, while the industrial and financial indexes fell 0.25% and 0.17%, respectively.


Of the 100 companies traded, 53 posted gains, while 22 recorded losses.
