16/ JTB Launches Strategic Tourism Roadshow Across Major International Capitals

Amman, May 13 (Petra) – The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) announced on Wednesday the launch of a comprehensive promotional campaign across several global capitals, coordinated in partnership with Jordanian embassies and diplomatic missions.

This integrated marketing initiative is designed to strengthen Jordan’s presence on the international tourism map and showcase the Kingdom’s unique archaeological, cultural, and human heritage to a global audience.

The JTB stated that this outreach is part of a sustained effort to expand the Kingdom’s promotional footprint in high-priority international markets. By leveraging national occasions and global events, the campaign aims to position Jordan as a secure and diverse destination offering a rich array of travel experiences.

The promotional program includes a series of cultural and introductory activities in major cities, including London, Moscow, Rome, Madrid, Algiers, New Delhi, and Tokyo, as well as events in Brazil, Ottawa, and Jakarta.

The activities feature interactive cultural showcases and promotional presentations that highlight Jordan’s identity, focusing on its archaeological sites, natural landscapes, and religious and medical tourism offerings.

A significant element of the 2026 campaign is the synchronization with major national milestones, most notably the Kingdom’s celebrations of the 80th Independence Day. Additionally, the JTB is capitalizing on the momentum generated by the "Nashama" national football team’s participation in the 2026 World Cup to enhance Jordan's modern image and solidify its status as a premier global destination.

The Board emphasized its commitment to executing these promotional strategies through its international offices and in collaboration with various stakeholders. This approach is intended to maximize the reach and effectiveness of marketing campaigns, ensuring broader access to target markets and sustaining the growth of the tourism sector in the coming period.
