Amman, May 6 (Petra) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi held a telephone conversation on Wednesday with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

Safadi and Sheikh Mohammed discussed the latest developments in the region and ongoing efforts aimed at ending the dangerous escalation. They focused on ways to restore security and stability by addressing the root causes of tension.

The two ministers affirmed the solidarity of Jordan and Qatar in facing regional challenges and emphasized their commitment to continued coordination and cooperation in resolving regional crises.
