Amman, May 6 (Petra)-- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, discussed on Wednesday the prospects for ending the dangerous escalation currently witnessed in the region.

During a telephone conversation, Safadi and Fidan emphasized the necessity of reaching a comprehensive solution that builds upon the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, ensuring sustainable security and stability.

The two ministers also explored opportunities to increase cooperation across various sectors. They reaffirmed their commitment to continued joint efforts to strengthen the fraternal relations between Jordan and Türkiye, maintaining high-level coordination and consultation on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
