Amman, May 6 (Petra) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi and South Korean Foreign Affairs Minister Cho Hyun on Wednesday discussed on the telephone bilateral relations and regional developments.

The ministers noted the deep relations between Jordan and South Korea and a shared commitment to expanding cooperation across sectors of mutual interest.

They also reviewed developments in the region and efforts to de-escalate tensions, including prospects for a U.S.-Iran agreement that would lead to a comprehensive solution to restore calm, security, and stability.

The ministers agreed to maintain coordination and consultation to advance cooperation and address regional and international issues of common interest.
