Amman, May 6 (Petra) – A ceremony was held Wednesday at Prince Rashid Hall in Al Hussein Youth City to receive S. Korean taekwondo equipment, as part of efforts to support the sport's development and enhance youth participation in the Kingdom's sportive activities.

Minister of Youth Raed Adwan, S.Korean Ambassador to Jordan Kim Pil Woo, Vice President of the Jordan Taekwondo Federation (JTF) Hazem Nuaimat, and a number of other sports officials attended the handover ceremony.

The event witnessed delivery of taekwondo equipment donated by the S.Korean government to the federation, aimed to support athletes' abilities, expand youth engagement, and strengthen sports and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

According to a JTF statement, the equipment provided were taekwondo uniforms, protective helmets, training kits and chest, arm, and leg safety gear.

The attendees said this initiative reflects "depth" of Jordanian-Korean relations and contributes to developing Taekwondo, which is "one of the most widespread sports in Jordan, due to its sporting and moral values ??that build the youth character."
