Amman, March 31 (Petra) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi on Tuesday received Dora Cattuti, the Middle East and North Africa adviser to the French President, and Paul Soler, the French president’s special envoy and adviser on Libya.

Safadi and the French delegation discussed the impact of the dangerous escalation in the region, chances for restoring calm, preventing the region from a broader conflict, and using diplomacy to promote security and stability.

The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two friendly countries across various fields.
