20/ EMRC: Jordan's energy system 'stable;' proactive plans ensure sustainable supply
Amman, March 24 (Petra) – Chairman of Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC), Ziad Sa'aydeh, reassured the public that the Kingdom's energy supply system is operating with "high efficiency and complete stability, supported by a strategic reserve that is continuously replenished." In a press statement to (Petra) on Tuesday, Sa'aydeh said this process is implemented, in accordance with "well-studied proactive plans, which ensure the uninterrupted supply of various petroleum products." He also noted the option of scheduled power outages is "not under consideration, given the high operational readiness and stability" of the energy system across the Kingdom. In a related context, he said the safe handling of petroleum products is a "key" priority for maintaining public safety. To achieve this goal, Sa'aydeh said the EMRC continues its awareness campaigns to promote a culture of public safety, calling for adherence to approved guidelines and instructions to ensure the "responsible and safe" use of these substances. //Petra// AG
