Amman, March 12 (Petra) -- Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity reported disruptions to six power transmission lines following debris from recently intercepted drones.

Earlier, the Kuwaiti National Guard shot down eight drones over sensitive sites under its protection. Brigadier-General Jadaan Fadhel, the Guard’s spokesperson, confirmed that forces remain on high alert and are coordinating with the army, police, and fire services to maintain security.

He emphasized the need for constant readiness to respond to potential threats and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and stability.
