Baghdad, March 11 (Petra) – Four drones were shot down near Baghdad International Airport in the capital, Iraqi security authorities said Wednesday.

Head of the Iraqi Security Media Cell, Lieutenant General Saad Maan, stated that the drones were intercepted without causing any human or material damage.

Maan added that security forces took the necessary measures to ensure the safety of the airport's perimeter.
