Amman, Mar. 5 (Petra)-- According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli occupation police said that Friday prayer will not take place at Al-Aqsa Mosque and that it would be closed to worshipers tomorrow.

Citing policies and directives from the Israeli Home Front Command, Israeli police said in an official statement that Friday prayer would not be held in Al-Aqsa Mosque tomorrow.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque compound has been closed by Israeli authorities for the sixth day in a row, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).

Last Saturday morning, Israeli authorities closed Al-Aqsa Mosque, evicting worshipers and prohibiting the Isha and Taraweeh prayers.
