Amman, March 3 (Petra) -- A military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces categorically denied reports published on Monday alleging that Iraq had been attacked by aircraft and drones launched from Jordanian territory.

The source stressed that these are false claims with no basis in fact, affirming that Jordan’s position is firm and that it will not be a battleground for anyone, nor will it allow any party to threaten its citizens or the safety of its land and airspace.

The military source warned that the armed forces are taking all necessary steps to confront any attempts that undermine the nation’s security and stability and will respond firmly to any attempts to target it.
