Amman, March 2 (Petra) -- The trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) was JD8.2 million on Monday, with 3.2 million shares changing hands through 2,468 transactions.

The general share price index closed at 3,553 points, down 0.14%.

Sector indices were broadly lower, with services slipping 0.26%, finance down 0.10%, and industry 0.09%.

Of 87 companies on the index, 29 posted gains, 38 were lower and the rest were flat.
