9/ JHCO, KSrelief conclude dates distribution project, over 62,000 impoverished households benefited
Amman, March 1 (Petra) – Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) wrapped up their 2025 food security project by distributing dates to impoverished families across the Kingdom's governorates. According to a JHCO statement issued on Sunday, the project served all Jordanian governorates by distributing 500 tons of dates to beneficiary families through dozens of dilvery outlets and stations, in cooperation with local partner associations. This year, more than 62,000 households from the most vulnerable groups benefited from the project, as part of joint efforts to enhance food security and support low-income families throughout the Kingdom. KSrelief Director of Jordan branch, Naif bin Saleh Shammari, affirmed Saudi Arabia, through the center, is "committed" to improving living conditions in Jordan as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts for the most vulnerable groups and enhance food security. To achieve this goal, he noted dates were distributed in all governorates of Jordan and refugee camps by partners who carried out the initiative. In turn, Dr. Hussein Shibli, JHCO Secretary-General said: "The organization values ??its ongoing partnership with KSrelief and constantly strives to implement more diverse relief and food projects that serve the local community and refugees, in line with the organization's humanitarian vision and strategic objectives." //Petra// AG
