Amman, June 15 (Petra) -- Prime Minister Jafar Hassan congratulated the Hashemite leadership and the Jordanian people on Monday on the occasion of the Islamic New Year (Hijri New Year).

"Happy New Year on the occasion of the Hijri new year. We pray to God that it will be a year of goodness and blessings for our dear Jordan, our wise Hashemite leadership, and all the sons and daughters of our beloved homeland," Hassan said in a social media post.
