17/ Roman Theater to Host Free Public Viewing of Nashama World Cup Opener

Amman, June 15 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Youth, in cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality, announced a public event to screen Jordan's national football team's match against Austria at the Roman Theater in downtown Amman as part of the Nashama's historic first appearance at the FIFA World Cup.

The event, titled "With the Nashama at the Roman Theater," will be open to the public and will feature a range of activities aimed at bringing Jordanians together in support of the national team during its World Cup campaign.

The event will take place on Wednesday, June 17. Gates will open at 5 a.m., while kick-off is scheduled for 7 a.m. The ministry said admission will be free of charge, adding that Jordan's subsequent World Cup matches will also be screened at the same venue.

To facilitate attendance, the ministry and the Greater Amman Municipality will provide shuttle buses to transport fans to the Roman Theater from King Abdullah II Sports City in Qweismeh and from areas adjacent to the Public Security Directorate in Muqabalain.

The initiative aims to enable wider public participation and allow more supporters to attend the event and cheer on the national team throughout its World Cup journey.
