Amman, June 14 (Petra) -- Jordanian national karate team athlete, Afeef Ghaith, has clinched a silver medal Sunday in the under-67kg category at the Karate 1 Premier League 2026 in Rabat, competing against some of the world's top-ranked fighters.

In a statement, Jordan Karate Federation (JKF) said the milestone reflects the "high level" of technical and physical preparation of the national team, calling the win a "motivation to sustain the team's winning momentum heading into upcoming competitions."

The JKF praised efforts of the team's administration, Head Coach Mohammad Fityan and coaches Hossein Rouhani and Salem Da'jah, in preparing Ghaith to compete at the elite level, which reflects the continuous development of Jordanian karate sector.
