Amman, June 13 (Petra) -- The Jordan Football Association (JFA) on Saturday expressed its profound pride in Jordanian fans across the Kingdom and worldwide, highly valuing the national passion shown in supporting the national team and celebrating its achievements, which reflects the spirit of loyalty and pride shared by all citizens.

In a statement issued today, the JFA emphasized its welcoming of all forms of fan and national support for the team, encouraging various institutions and entities to participate in the patriotic atmosphere backing "Al-Nashama." It noted that this embodies the value of sports achievement as a unifying national project, provided it complies with legal provisions and safeguards the rights of the JFA and its commercial partners.

The JFA clarified that the logos of the Jordan Football Association and the national team, alongside their names, visual identities, and official trademarks, are protected and registered properties under the prevailing legislation in the Kingdom. Furthermore, the designs of the official national team jerseys are owned by the JFA and bear the "Kelme" brand as the official apparel partner, which is a duly registered and protected trademark.

The statement added that the commercial investment rights for the national team players' images, whether individual or collective, static or moving, belong exclusively to the JFA, and they may not be utilized for commercial purposes without prior approval.

The JFA pointed out that any unauthorized commercial use of the trademarks, logos, visual identities, official jersey designs, or players' images including the production, import, distribution, display, or sale of products bearing these rights without obtaining the necessary approvals constitutes a legal violation that may entail civil and criminal liabilities under the law.

The association stated that official national team jerseys and promotional merchandise are available through authorized points of sale and channels. These include the JFA headquarters at the Al-Hussein Youth City, the two "Kelme" stores in Sweifieh and Jabal Al-Hussein, Abdali Boulevard, and the "Talabat" application. The JFA stressed that any products sold outside these channels are neither authentic nor official.

The JFA emphasized that protecting these official rights does not aim to restrict national initiatives or expressions of pride and support for the national team. It welcomed celebratory initiatives, products, and activities supporting Jordan and Al-Nashama, provided they do not utilize any protected trademarks, logos, designs, or images without a license.

The association noted that it has launched the "Al-Nashama" logo dedicated specifically for fans, which is available for free use in community initiatives and promotional materials or products, enabling fans to express their support for the team in a lawful and organized manner.

Additionally, the JFA announced the commencement of coordination with relevant authorities and law enforcement agencies to take the necessary measures to prevent any infringements on its rights and those of its partners, while reserving its full legal right to pursue civil and criminal actions when necessary.

The JFA called upon fans to support the official merchandise of the national team, noting that its revenues contribute directly to supporting the team, developing Jordanian football, and building a new generation of promising talents, while stressing the importance of purchasing official jerseys and products strictly from authorized channels.
