14/ Mauritanian referee Dahane Beida to officiate Jordan’s World Cup opener against Austria
Amman, June 13 (Petra) -- The International Association Football Federation (FIFA) announced the appointment of Mauritanian referee Dahane Beida to officiate the upcoming match between Jordan's national football team and its Austrian counterpart, scheduled as part of the first round of Group J in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Beida will be assisted by assistant referees Gerson Santos from Angola and Elvis Noupue from Cameroon, while Oshane Nation from Jamaica will serve as the fourth official.
