34/ 6 killed in Israeli airstrikes on Southern Lebanon

Beirut, June 10 (Petra) – Six people were killed and one was wounded in Israeli drone strikes Wednesday morning on the towns of Tayr Dibba, Siddiqin, and Kufr Dunin in southern Lebanon, a Lebanese security source said.

Israeli aircraft were attacking several areas in the Nabatieh district and fired two missiles on the town of Bnaafoul village in the Sidon district, one of which failed to explode, the source told a Petra reporter in Beirut.

The rockets struck about 30 meters from a public school in the village, which sheltered dozens of displaced people, causing significant damage but no casualties, said the source.

The source also reported artillery shelling of the towns of Zibqin, Majdal Zoun, and Kufr Rumman, coinciding with an evacuation order by the Israeli army to residents of Ghassaniyeh and Houmin al-Fouqa in Nabatieh.
