According to a ministry statement, the memorandum was signed by Minister of Environment Ayman Suleiman and Run Jordan Director General Lina Kurd.

Under the memorandum, the two sides will cooperate in integrating environmental awareness messages into sporting events and races, utilizing their media and communication platforms to reach wider audiences, and implementing joint initiatives that support the goals of the National Cleanliness Strategy.

The agreement also seeks to reduce indiscriminate waste disposal and strengthen community participation in environmental protection efforts.

The minister said the ministry is continuing to implement awareness programs and initiatives aimed at fostering a culture of cleanliness and reducing littering in public spaces.
