  14/ National Team Completes Preparations for Colombia Friendly Ahead of World Cup Campaign

Amman, June 7 (Petra) -- The Jordanian national football team completed its technical and physical preparations Saturday ahead of its friendly match against Colombia, scheduled for 2 a.m. Jordan time on Monday at Dragon Stadium in San Diego, as part of its preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The team held its final training session at the Chula Vista Sports Center under the supervision of head coach Jamal Sellami, with all players participating. The session was open to media coverage.

The match will be played using Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology. Jordan will wear its red kit, while Colombia will appear in green.

The 23rd edition of the FIFA World Cup is set to begin next Thursday, with Jordan competing in Group J alongside Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.

Jordan will open its World Cup campaign against Austria at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, at Santa Clara Stadium in San Francisco. It will then face Algeria at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, at the same venue before concluding the group stage against Argentina at 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, at Dallas Stadium.

All match times are according to local time in Amman.
